It has tons of unused space and electrical outlets, painted over murals on the walls, a small stage no one performs on, and a large rectangular ball pit surrounded by yellow netting that’s roped-off with a sign saying “ Do not use. IMHO, it's a travesty that the artwork seen in the advance copy (said artwork was shared on Freddit) didn't appear in the paperback -- it's fittingly dark, it gives the reader a better idea of what the characters might look like and it involves some action-filled scenes.

The case file contains several death reports, and photographs of a mysterious cloaked figure, which digs through garbage and junk, looking for something unknown. I’m not sure why they were left out, but thought I’d mention here, since I couldn’t find any information that said why. In titular first story, Oswald is very displeased and upset with how simple and mundane his life is but after almost losing his father and nearly dying, at the end of the story he grows a greater appreciation for his boring life.We literally saw these two burning in FFPS, so unless these stories somehow take place before FFPS it doesn't seem possible those two robots could still exist. Oswald's life hasn't been so great since his dad lost a good job at the mill and his family is one of the few holdouts in town who haven't left yet. What happens next Oswald cannot explain, but Spring Bonnie takes his father's place, driving him home and doing normal dad stuff (speechlessly) with nobody acting as though they can see him as anything other than Oswald's human father. But in the twisted world of Five Nights at Freddy’s , their hearts’ deepest desires have an unexpected cost.

The illustration of Oswald and his father getting under attack by Spring Bonnie is made, but, like other completed illustrations, was scrapped due to lacking color. In Tales from the Pizzaplex, the latest FNAF novel series, Eleanor's pendant seemingly appeared, tying the character to the Pizzaplex era. The story involves a time-travelling ball pit, a Spring Bonnie body-swap that only the protagonist can see, and -as is tradition in FNAF- more child murder. Maybe it's related to the gameplay but the overly exaggerated animations just seem too try-hard to me.

Oswald wishes his summer wasn't so boring, Sarah wishes to be beautiful, and Millie wishes she could just disappear from the face of the earth. In this volume, horror master Scott Cawthon spins three sinister novella-length stories from different corners of his series’ canon. She shows him a book she likes about Greek heroes, as they’re super brave, and having only moved into town three days ago she’s nervous. Unfortunately, this is where the true nightmare begins for young Oswald, as the horrors he's witnessed follow him home. The humans in question is Millie's grandfather and Millie's male friend that I can't remember the name of.Much to his surprise, he emerges in the same restaurant decades earlier, where he sees an unforgettable tragedy unfold. Five Nights at Freddy's fans won't want to missthis pulse-pounding collection of three novella-length talesthat will keep even the bravest player up at night.
